Hierarchical Divine Liturgy at St Aidan Manchester, the Second Sunday of Great Lent
Sayedna Silouan visited St Aidan, Manchester to serve the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy on the second Sunday of Great Lent. The weekend started on Friday evening with the Akathist to the Theotokos. Sayedna Silouan preached inspiriationally about acquiring an Orthodox mind and digging deeper into the life of the Church during Great Lent so as to acquire genuine holiness ... a theme that he developed in some depth over the weekend through no less than 5 excellent sermons and talk


Hierarchical Divine Liturgy for St Oswald Mission, Warrington served in St Elphin's Church
On Saturday 7th March, His Eminence Metropolitan Silouan served the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy for the Mission of St Oswald. The Liturgy was held in St Elphin's Anglican Church by kind permission of the Rector and the Parish Council. At this service Sayedna Silouan ordained Daniel Moran as a Subdeacon. First Divine Liturgy for St Oswald's Warrington in St Elphin's Church
On Saturday 7th February the first Orthodox Divine Liturgy was served in the ancient church of St Elphin, Warrington by kind permission of the Rector, Church wardens and Parochial Church Council. An amazing 49 people attended which is an excellent beginning for this new mission. The next service will be when our bishop His Eminence Metropolitan Silouan visits to serve a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy on Saturday 7th March at 11am at the same venue. At this Liturgy, Daniel Mo

Visit of Sayedna Silouan and the Ordination of Oswald Taylor as a Subdeacon
Sayedna Silouan, our Metropolitan visited the parish on the Feast of St Andrew. Before the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy he ordained Oswald Taylor as a Subdeacon. Oswald supports our missions in Heywood and Halifax and is an excellent trainer of the younger servers. Here is the link to the photo album:
