The Gospel in Many Languages

The resurrection appearance of our Lord to St Thomas is recited in many languages usually at Paschal Vespers but since we did not have this service this year we took the same Gospel (as appointed) and for the first half proclaimed it in Slavonic, Italian, German, Dutch, Welsh, Greek, Latin, Arabic, Romanian and French (as well as English of course). Orthodox Christianity is an authentic experience of Pentecost when many languages become one in Christ.
